Meet the members! Our Board of Directors is comprised of nine people who serve three-year terms. An annual election is held during the month of April. Board meetings take place on the third Wednesday of each month at the Hanover Food Store. The Board uses the Policy Governance model to conduct its business, a process used by many cooperatives. John Boutin

Term ends in 2013.

Margaret Drye

Term ends in 2013. Field Editor, Taste of Home Magazine, guest columnist, Valley News. Former Chair of Plainfield Finance Committee. Cornish Rescue Squad EMT, American Red Cross Instructor Trainer. President of Meriden Bird Club, Leader of Covered Bridge 4-H. Leadership New Hampshire graduate.

Tricia Groff

Term ends in 2011. Secretary. Pediatrician at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Board member of the Upper Valley Haven and the Norwich Childcare Center.

Paul Hoffman

Term ends in 2011. Employed for fourteen years by the Hanover Consumer Cooperative Society, currently as Assistant Director of Merchandising.

Don Kreis

Term ends in 2012. Treasurer. Associate Director and Assistant Professor of Law, Institute for Energy and the Environment, Vermont Law School; former general counsel, New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission. Board Vice President, Cooperative Fund of New England; Board Member, Renewable Energy Vermont; freelance architecture writer and commentator. Member, Board of Civil Authority, Town of Norwich, and Advisory Board of news web site vtdigger.org.

Kay Litten

Term ends in 2011. President. Former high school teacher of foreign languages and English. Worked in the Carleton College (Northfield, MN) Library. In Scituate, MA, served as a Library Trustee and Board Chair; also a founding member and officer of a buyers’ cooperative.

Corrie Martin

Term ends in 2012. Nominating Committee Chair. Recent founder of a Slow Food USA Convivium in the Upper Valley. Early career spent as an event planner and fundraiser in non-profit arts organizations. Later served on the Friends of the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Board. Currently working in marketing.

Jill Mikucki

Term ends in 2013. Research Assistant Professor in the Earth Sciences and Environmental Studies Program at Dartmouth College

Janet L. Saint Germain

Term ends in 2012. Vice President. Long time background in finance and economics. Currently working as a financial advisor.
