1. In a large bowl, add 1-1/4 cups water to 10oz Falafel Mix and stir well.
2. Let stand 15 minutes to absorb the water.
3. Form mix into 1” balls.
4. Pour vegetable oil into a deep skillet until it is 1/2” deep. Heat until 375 F.
5. Fry balls until brown and crisp (about 3 minutes).
6. Drain and serve.
Broiling Directions:
1. Follow mixing directions 1-3 to prepare falafel balls for cooking.
2. Flatten falafel balls into 1/2”-thick patties. Brush both sides of each patty with olive oil.
3. Place on cookie sheet, then broil 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden.
4. Remove from broiler. Use paper towels to blot any excess oil and serve.
Directions
For Six 3” Patties: Use 1 1/2 cups mix and 1 1/2 cups boiling water.
For Three 3” Patties: Use 3/4 cup each of mix and water.
1. In a mixing bowl, combine Nature’s Burger with specified amount of boiling water. Stir well.
2. Let mixture stand for 10 to 15 minutes until it has cooled and become stiff.
3. Form into thin patties (1/2” thick and about 3” diameter).
4. Pan-fry on Medium heat in nonstick pan (butter or vegetable oil optional). Turn frequently until brown on both sides.
5. If desired, melt a slice of cheese on top.
6. Serve on a bun with your favorite condiments and garnishes such as lettuce, tomato, red onion, relish, ketchup, mustard.
Stove Top:
1. In a large pot, bring 2 1/2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 cup Chili Mix and stir well.
2. Add 1 can of your choice of whole beans (kidney, pinto, or black), drained and rinsed.
3. Add 1 can of stewed or diced tomatoes, drain.
4. Reduce heat and simmer on Low for 10 minutes with lid off.
Microwave:
1. In a 3 quart microwave safe glass casserole, combine 2 cups warm water and 1 cup Chili Mix. Add 1 can drained of your choice of beans (kidney, pinto, or black) and 1 can drained of stewed or diced tomatoes.
2. Cover and microwave on High for 15 minutes.
3. Stir, cover, and return to microwave. cook on High for 5 additional minutes. (Microwave ovens vary; cooking time is approximate.) Requires one 15 oz. can of beans and one 14.5 oz. can of tomatoes.
Requires Oil.
1. Place 1 cup Hummus Mix in a bowl.
2. Add 1 1/2 cups warm water and 3 Tbsp olive oil.
3. Stir until evenly blended with whisk or fork.
4. Chill 5 minutes and serve
Requires two fresh tomatoes, olive oil and lemon juice.
1. Add 1-1/4 cups of water to 1 cup Tabouli mix.
2. Add 2 finely chopped tomatoes, 2 tablespoon olive oil, and 2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice.
3. Let stand in the refrigerator for one hour.
Directions
1. In a medium size bowl, add 1.75 cups boiling water to 1 cup refried beans mix.
2. Stir well, cover 5 minutes, then serve.

Guatemalan Black Bean Soup
1 cup Instant Black Beans Mix
2 Tbsp olive oil
3 cups water
1 can chicken or vegetable broth
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 cup carrots, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
1 pinch cumin
Sour Cream
Dry chilis (optional)
1. In a large soup pot, saute onions, garlic, carrots, celery in olive oil. Cook for 5 minutes on high heat.
2. Add 3 cups of water, 1 can of chicken or vegetable broth, and 1 cup Black Beans Mix and bring to a boil.
3. Lower heat to medium, cover, and cook for 5-10 minutes.
4. Once beans are tender, add salt, pepper, and cumin.
5. Garnish with sour cream, herbs, or dry chilis.
