It’s summer and that means it’s county fair time! Enjoy the rides and the livestock judging and check out the midway games. Are you trying to maintain a healthy weight? You don’t have to forego that special once-a-summer treat. When you know the calorie and exercise “cost” of your treat, you can figure out whether you’ll want to walk it off or split it with friends. The list below gives the calories of some popular fair treats and the minutes of brisk walking needed to burn off the calories.

This means you can have your cotton candy and eat it too! (But you might want to share the battered, deep-fried “Bloomin’ Onion”)
