They’re silly! They’re fun! They’re straight out of the Co-opozoic Period! And they’re here to teach kids all about healthy eating, as well as cooperative history, principles, and more. (Who knows? Grown-ups might learn something too!) Meet the Co-oposaurus clan below. Each is named after various terms from the origins of the cooperative movement.

Clockwise from left: Laney, the Co-opiraptor; Dale, the Apataco-oposaurus; Weaver, Co-opadactyl; Roch, Co-oposaurus Rex. Where did the names come from? Learn more about co-op history and events.

They’re the ones who started at all! Roch is a sensitive, creative dreamer of a Co-oposaurus Rex. Eats gluten free. Likes showtunes. Dale is a matriarchal Apataco-oposaurus who was vegan long before vegan was cool. Check out our activity pages to learn more!
