  • Mingle with the real members, not just board members, talk, ask opinions, and listen. If something is not profitable… are members willing to pay for a price increase to keep specific items/services? Ask BEFORE making a decision that in the end may be VERY unfavorable with the masses. The coop is owned by all members!
  • I’d be interested in sustainability presentations/workshops – both general and specific to the Co-op’s initiatives. Thanks!
  • Maybe we should be consulted on big issues like the closing of the service center. It doesn’t really matter if it’s just breaking even if it providing a valuable service for the community. The fact is we seldom get refunds back anymore anyway so what difference does it make if it’s making money and providing service and jobs for the community?
  • i am troubled by the lack of community participation in the decision to close the service station in hanover. it may well have been an unavoidable act but a cooperative needs to come to that decision as a community unlike a business that is run top down. i have not used the facility but it is the process not the outcome that disappointed me. the coop is indeed more than a great grocery store.
  • Shopping at the co-op is a community experience in itself. You’ve already done a pretty good job at this!!!
