Learn more about our friends with the Upper Valley Trails Alliance.
When a region is loaded with beautiful hiking trails, it’s easy to forget there are people behind the scenes who worked hard to make the trails possible—people like the volunteers with the UVTA.
The Upper Valley Trails Alliance advocates for the use, maintenance, and development of trails in the Upper Valley region. Through education, outreach, and stewardship, the organization promotes active lifestyles through trail use in all seasons; connects people and places through a regional trail network; and leads a coalition of local trail groups and advocates.
UVTA not only coordinates the maintenance of existing trails and the construction of new ones, it also works to secure land access rights and connect trails with each other to provide new avenues for recreation and travel.
