This hands-on class will cover the creative use of seasonal produce, the power of whole grains, nuts and seeds, and the nutrition behind our choices. Expect to leave with several tasty recipes that can be recreated at home with confidence.
Lisa Barnes is a certified natural chef, trained in therapeutic cooking through Bauman College. She brings a passion for healthy cooking along with a repertoire of delicious, home-grown recipes and knowledge of the nutrition behind them. Her classes focus on approachable cuisine that helps the everyday cook incorporate seasonal, organic, and unrefined ingredients into his or her own home kitchen. Lisa’s culinary experience includes community cooking classes, private parties, small event catering and personal chef work.
