Why Aren't All Products in All Locations?

Ever noticed that you can find some products in our Lebanon store that aren’t available in our Hanover store and vice versa? Ever wondered why?
Store size plays one role. The larger Lebanon location can hold expanded product lines, and has more shelf space, freezer space, and refrigeration capacity. But believe it or not, differences in demographics make up the main reason. Or to put it more simply, products that sell out in one store gather dust in another, just a few miles down the road. (Hey, we’re all different! And cooperatives are all about celebrating a different way of doing things and catering to the wide variety of member and customer needs.)
Locational differences notwithstanding, the Co-op is one cooperative business. And as such, we’re here to serve you. A real person will help you find what you’re looking for, can check to see if it’s on sale, and suggest alternatives if it’s not available. It’s a very different way of doing business. But at our cooperative, it’s the only way.
