Fish is a healthy lean protein option with very little saturated fat. There are so many fantastic flavors to discover under the sea, from squid and shrimp to large flat fish, or smaller flavor-packed anchovies. ‘Seafood’ simply refers to any edible animal that lives in the sea (which includes fish and shellfish), so that covers everything from squid to shrimp, oysters to mackerel and octopus or clams. Grilling, frying, poaching; there are many options to choose from when it comes to cooking your perfect fish fillet, but preparing seafood is delightfully simple.
Despite there being so many methods for cooking seafood, most of them are fast and easy, making seafood the perfect choice for a quick and healthy midweek supper or an express lunch. In this class we will cover several different preparations of seafood as well as what to look for when buying all sorts of creatures from the sea!
