And if any department embodies that philosophy, it’s the Co-op Seafood Department. It works like this: At the Co-op, we act as buyers for our members and shoppers, not as sellers for an outside supplier. In the grocery business, it’s a very different way of doing things — but at the Co-op it’s the only way.
