Serves 6 (2 Tbs. per serving)
If you love the expensive, imported herbed cheese spreads, this ones for you. Its a hit every time.
3/4cup part-skim ricotta cheese
1 Tbs. dried parsley
2 Tbs. dried chives
2 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. dried marjoram
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Pepper to taste
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients, mixing well.
Chill several hours or overnight to blend flavors.
Spread on wholegrain crackers or bread.
Per serving: 46 calories, 4 g protein, 3 g fat, 2 g carbohydrate, 49 mg sodium, 10 mg cholesterol.
